The Sun is something that we see every single day. But do you know exactly how it is affecting us? The Sun is important to our planet in many ways and there are many beneficial effects. Yet there are some effects that are harmful. Many would say that the Sun is the primary reason for global warming. Now, that may sound true, but there is a lot more to the story that is not shown. Many believe that the weather on the Sun has increased and that is what causes global warming, but that is wrong. Mainly, the greenhouse gasses that we are burning on the daily “clogs up” the atmosphere, and does not allow heat to enter and leave the atmosphere normally. When the heat is getting trapped in our atmosphere, it causes our Earth to heat up, and that is what is causing global warming. There are many things that we can do to prevent this, by using solar energy, limiting our use of gases and other harmful particles, along with other things. The purpose of this paper is to address the harmful effects of the sun, along with what it is doing to our planet and how us humans are contributing to the vital changes that have been going on over the past few decades. This paper is divided into three main sections; the first of which deals with the Sun’s atmosphere along with what it is capable of doing. The second section will deal with the Sun’s Role in Climate Change and the  Effect it has on the environment as a whole. Last but not least, the last section will deal with advancing the understanding of the Sun, Earth interaction and the  major factors of climate change.
