New Beginnings Poem
She fell for the mischievous tricks of her husband
The kids didn’t appreciate the games
Their house and communication became more silent
She loved him
She really did.
She still remembers the white pasty cake on her wedding day
The kids remember those days; they continue to pray
Now all the shadows bury their home and the skies have turned gray
“Please forgive me, I’m so sorry!” he cried.
But the wife wouldn’t believe any of his lies.
“Going our separate ways is the best for us,” the wife replied.
Exhaustion caused things to escalate to this point. She wants to redefine.
Even if its by herself, her journey will be an important one
The betrayal of her husband hit harder than a bullet from a gun
Her journey as a single mother has just begun.
