The NYC iSchool already has many sport teams for students to join like basketball, baseball, track and much more. Football is not one of them.

Football is a very popular sport throughout the school, and many of the students wish that the school provided them with a football team of its own.

We asked a couple of students whether or not they they think the iSchool should have a football team and why.

Sophomore Anthony Acuna said, “I would love to see a football team at the iSchool. Football is one of my favorite sports to play so I would definitely join and I think other students will to.”

“Many other schools have football teams so it wouldn’t be hard to get games,” said Raffi Bock, a 10th grade student at the iSchool. He also stated that “there are many fields to play on so it wouldn’t be a problem.”

Students wonder why there is no football team even though it is simple to create one, and many students would join the team so that would not be a problem.

Sophomore Malsor Hasandjekaj said that “maybe the reason we don’t have a football team is because we don’t have the equipment to play.”

Many students agreed with this reason as of why we don’t have a team. But most people agree with the fact that the iSchool should have a football team. There are many different point of views on why we should have a team, and why we should not have a team.
