At the NYC iSchool, there are many faculty and administration who help students all over the school. Here are some of those people:
Principal:
Isora Bailey- Became the NYC iSchool’s principal since August of 2012.
Math:
James Whittaker- Teaches Trigonometry and Geometry. Working at the iSchool for 14 years.
Evelyn Baracaldo- Teaches Calculus and Math Lab. Working at the iSchool for about 9 years.
Kristen LaPlante- Teaches Algebra and has an 11th grade advisory. Working at the iSchool for 3 years.
Lauren Ryan- Teaches algebra and geometry. Working at the iSchool for 1 year.
Gym:
Patrick Lindo- Physical education teacher at iSchool. Coaches soccer and runs mini camps for elementary school children. Working at the iSchool for 1 year.
Guidance Counselor:
Lizzette Colon- Her main job is to provide emotional support however that may be. Also, she is the faculty advisor for iCare, provides working papers, moderates culture club, and stars. She has been working at the iSchool for 8 years.
History:
Amy Strassler- Teaches Online US History, Model UN, Pop Up Restaurant, and other electives. Working at the iSchool for 8 years.
Johanna Perez- Teaches Online US and co teaching iLearn. Working at the iSchool for about 1 year.
Catherine Turso- Teaches T-Shirt economics, Constitutional Law, Empathy Project, Personal Finance, Cryptocurrency, and Global Current Events. Working at the iSchool for 1 year.
English:
Andrea Mangano- Teaches iNews, English required classes, and electives. Working at the iSchool for 4 years and has been teaching for 12 years.
Tom Jones- Teaches English, iLearn, Speak This, and AP Language and Composition. Working at the iSchool for 9 years.
Science:
Brittany Klimowicz- Teaches Genetics, Online Ecology, Living Environment, Neuroscience, Superhuman Physiology, Happiness 101, Human Microbiome, Scientific Shark Tank, and Critical Thinking in Science. Teaching at the iSchool for two years.
Thomas Smolka- Teaches Physics, Crash Course, and Natural Disasters. Working at the iSchool for 5 years.
