Senior project: How HEPA filtration systems can benefit NYCHA housing projects

Sylvie Rouslin

Project description:

This project contains a literature review which discusses the science behind HEPA air filters and their success in reducing indoor air pollutants in highly polluted areas of the world, and how they can be beneficial to New York City’s public housing developments, which have historically seen the highest rates of air pollution in the city. It also contains a letter appealing to Guardian Technologies, a company which sells HEPA air filtration devices, urging them to make their products more accessible to the populations who would benefit the most from them.
