My senior project has two components, a replica of an 1830’s doll wearing a dress from a pattern of the period, and a written manual. The doll’s dress is taken from the pattern of an 1837 Dolls Day Dress. The manual details 1830s women’s fashion and gives a step-by-step guide of how to re-create the day dress with the correct techniques.
