My research question dealt with the shared forces that drive people to collect and make assemblage art, and for my senior project I explored this firsthand by creating a triptych of shadow box assemblages that convey the pleasure in possessing material objects (among other things). Each piece has its own particular meaning and significance, but my emphasis is on experimenting with assemblage as an art form.
