Nuclear Proliferation!

Art in Motion at the NYC iSchool

Luke Copley and Ivy Hoffmaster

We interrupted an iSchool module, known as Nuclear Proliferation taught by Nathan Snyder. What is this module about? To deter or to not deter- that is the question.
The class teaches kids a general history and science behind Nuclear Power. And while the class seems built on scientific facts and discussion of morals, Snyder is known for his encouragement in incorporating forms of art. One of the classes most popular forms of art in the class is origami, the class goal is to create 1000 paper cranes.
Paper cranes are a beautiful art with a story behind them. We interviewed students to get a better idea of the meaning behind these cranes.
